Coastal Kids is an in-network provider for most major PPO dental plans. Our team handles verification and claims so your family can focus on care, not paperwork.
In-Network MetLife PDP PPO
Coastal Kids is an in-network MetLife PDP PPO provider at all five San Diego locations. MetLife patients can access pediatric dental and orthodontic care with full in-network benefits.
In-Network Cigna PPO Connection
We participate in the Cigna PPO Connection dental network. Cigna patients across San Diego County can use in-network benefits for pediatric dentistry and orthodontics at any of our five offices.
In-Network Delta Dental PPO
Coastal Kids is a Delta Dental PPO participating provider. Delta Dental patients can access in-network pediatric dental care at any of our five San Diego-area locations.
In-Network Aetna PPO
We accept Aetna PPO dental plans at all five Coastal Kids locations. Aetna members can access in-network pediatric dentistry and orthodontic care across San Diego County.
In-Network Anthem / Blue Cross Blue Shield
Coastal Kids accepts Anthem PPO dental plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, at all five San Diego locations. Our team submits Anthem claims on your behalf at every visit.
In-Network UnitedHealthcare Dental PPO
We accept UnitedHealthcare dental PPO plans at all five Coastal Kids locations in San Diego. UHC members can use in-network benefits for pediatric dental exams, cleanings, and orthodontics.
In-Network Guardian PPO
Coastal Kids participates in the Guardian PPO dental network. Guardian plan members are welcome at any of our five San Diego pediatric dental offices — no referral needed.
In-Network Humana Dental PPO
We accept Humana dental PPO plans at all Coastal Kids locations across San Diego. Humana members can access in-network pediatric dental and orthodontic care at any of our five offices.

We Accept Medi-Cal (Denti-Cal) at All Locations
Coastal Kids accepts Medi-Cal dental coverage — also known as Denti-Cal — through the Smile California program at all five of our San Diego locations. If your child is enrolled in Medi-Cal, their preventive care, exams, cleanings, and many treatments are covered at no out-of-pocket cost to your family.
Every child who comes to Coastal Kids receives the same board-certified specialist care — the same technology, the same team, the same experience. We never create separate tracks based on insurance type.
Navigating Medi-Cal dental benefits can be confusing. Our front desk team handles eligibility verification, pre-authorizations, and claims on your behalf — so you don't have to figure it out yourself.
